WHO IS EKELA?
More Than A Coach.
I'm a singer, billboard charting songwriter and producer, successful artist manager and label owner, and I'm a mother to 3 beautiful boys. I’ve been studying music my entire life. Brooklyn Youth Chorus Academy, LIU, Berkeley - and mentors like Kirk NuRock, Dianne Berkun, Fatis Burrell, Faroah Black, LMR Pro, Kenyan Penceal - I’ve studied so many different aspects of the artist and I’m so excited to have developed this firm to share my knowledge and create an army of artists that are in control and in demand. I developed A way of teaching that is genuine, impactful and unique for each journey. Singing is more than art. For most of us, it’s our only means of effective communication. I’m here to help singers say what they mean.
I dont just teach vocal techniques. I build confidence on stage, in studio and in every aspect of life. I uproot harmful thought patterns and replace them with positive reinforcement. I remind my singers of the goal when they lose sight. This is bigger than just some vocal lessons. This is the overhauling of what it means to be an artist in this time.

STARCAMP
StarCamp is the highest recommended program in The Voice Box. Its a month long artist development program for singers that are dedicating their life to being successful as artists. This camp is centered around the 9 fundamentals of holistic and effective artist development by Ekela. StarCamp is an interactive growing experience for serious singers who intend to use their talent to impact the music industry, their life and the world. StarCamp is 4 weeks long, with 7 in person sessions, as well as virtual and digital programming.
Audition is required if you arent a current client

PENCAMP
PENCAMP is a development experience for singer/songwriters or songwriters that want to write for singers. This programming is focused on both catalog debelopment, songwriting skill set, and vocal performance abilities. This camp is unique because it caters to the individual sound and ideas of each songwriter helping them carve out space in the industry for who they are.
This camo includes weekly warmups, songwriting coaching and challenges, skill building sessions, content direction and studio work.

PRIVATE VOICE COACHING & SONGWRITING
Ekela works one on one with clients to assess vocal weaknesses, build on strengths, teach new techniques, and instill confidence in your voice.
Ekela also works with singers to develop songwriting techniques ensuring that they know how to bring across their ideas, and create records that will resonate with current and future fans.
